Hafa Adai,

Welcome to the official website for the Historical Village of Inalåhan.  Inarajan as our village is commonly known and referred to as, is a village located on the Southeastern coast of the Marianas Island of Guam. The village's original name in Chamoru, Inalåhan, was altered when transliterated during Spain's rule of the island. 

The village was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1977 as an historic district, and is also designated as a folk arts village receiving federal funds for the preservation of its arts and culture.

The purpose of this website is to provide residents and visitors with historical & assistive information on our community.

Mayor Franklin M. Taitague

Mayor Franklin M. Taitague is our current mayor whom was elected by the people of Inalåhan in 2000 and officially took office in January 2001.

Community Events in October

  • The Inarajan Municipal Planning Council is proposing to submit a resolution to change "Inarajan” back to its historic name “Inalahan”.  Residents are invited to a community meeting on Wednesday, 7 p.m., October 12, 2011 at the Inarajan Mayor’s Office to present their views and thoughts on the proposal.

  • 11h Annual Spooktacular Treat - Monday, October 31 - starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Gef Pa’go Pavilion.  Cash prizes for the most scariest, most original, and most funniest entrants will be awarded that evening.  Treats & refreshments are also provided.  Donations are always appreciated.
